Publicising your website
Make sure everything else you publish carries your website address:- the Church Magazine, weekly sheets, letterheads, occasional publicity leaflets... everything.
If your site has content for the local community at large, you'll need to promote that specifically, getting the message across in local freesheets as well as in your own publicity materials.
Register your website with key search engines. If you submit your site to Google (www.google.co.uk) and the Open Directory Project (www.dmoz.org) that's a good start - word will get around.
And register the site with any appropriate Directories for church websites.
